Scripture Reading, Prayerful Reflection and Discussion

MISSION STATEMENT
“That Jesus help us to be good stewards by demonstrating our love and gratitude and using our gifts of time, talent and treasure to glorify God and to help others, we pray to the Lord…”

Regular Monthly Gatherings

1st Thursday 7:00PM -8:00PM

3rd Saturday 7:00AM -8:00AM
(followed by breakfast)

The St. John Fisher Men's Prayer Group strives to maintain a regular opportunity for all men (both Catholic and all who wish to join us) of every age to share in the reading of Scripture for the upcoming Sunday mass, to allow individual reflection on how the Reading is uniquely “touching his heart” and offers a further opportunity to share his reflection with others to the degree he is compelled or moved.  No commitment is needed and no pressure.  Just drop in and join us anytime you're available on the 1st Thursday of the month from 7-8pm and the 3rd Saturday from 7-8am (followed by breakfast).

Further, the St. John Fisher Men's Prayer Group exists to support, strengthen and help maximize the spiritual growth of men of the Catholic Church through prayer, Scripture reading, communication and networking together by sponsoring regular casual gatherings for ALL men. We strive to promote the work of the Catholic Church in the Archdiocese of Hartford and in the community of Marlborough, CT and its surrounds. In addition, we hope to create an environment of growth  in discipleship in the areas of;  Living as a Catholic Man, Marriage and Family, and Practical Spiritual Life.

St. John Fisher Parish Vision:

We are a beacon of God’s gracious and merciful love as we glorify His name through service to others; devotion to His teachings and His Son Jesus; and by maintaining a welcoming, accepting and embracing Catholic community of faith that judges none, embraces and protects the vulnerable, builds community of all ages and life stages and acts for the greater Glory of God.

St. John Fisher Parish Mission:

We provide an open, welcoming and active Catholic faith community that is inspired by the gifts of the Holy Spirit as we demonstrate our faith by (1) actively participating in Mass and the Sacraments, (2) by serving and ministering to others, (3) by exploring and sharing the Word and teachings of Jesus and (4) by openly embracing the various needs of our entire parish family and broader community in Christ.
